Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings and quotes

A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us and is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we've received your advance payment and sent you written confirmation by email or WhatsApp. Please check names, dates and destinations on your confirmation carefully, since corrections after booking may involve extra cost or may not be possible.

2. Payments

Most tours require an advance payment to confirm your booking, with the balance due before or at the start of your trip, as agreed at the time of booking. Payments can be made by bank transfer, mobile wallet, or card, as offered at checkout. Prices are quoted per the package details shared with you and may change for bookings made after a quote has expired.

3. Cancellations and refunds

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, let us know in writing as early as possible. Because hotels, drivers and local operators in Gilgit Baltistan are booked and paid in advance, refunds are subject to what our partners allow and generally follow this scale, unless your specific booking confirmation says otherwise:

• 15+ days before departure — advance payment refunded, minus any non-refundable costs already paid to hotels or operators
• 7–14 days before departure — 50% of the advance payment refunded
• Less than 7 days before departure, or no-shows — non-refundable

If we have to cancel or significantly change your trip — due to road closures, weather, security advisories, or circumstances beyond our control — we'll offer an alternative date, an alternative itinerary, or a refund of amounts not already spent on your behalf.

4. Your responsibilities as a traveler

You're responsible for:

• Holding a valid CNIC or passport, and any permits required for restricted areas
• Arriving on time for pickups, flights, and scheduled activities
• Disclosing any medical conditions relevant to high-altitude travel or physical activity
• Following the reasonable safety instructions of your guide or driver
• Any loss or damage you cause to vehicles, hotel rooms, or equipment during your trip

5. Travel risks and conditions in Gilgit Baltistan

Travel across Gilgit Baltistan, including mountain roads, high-altitude passes, and areas like Deosai National Park, carries inherent risks from terrain, weather, and altitude. We take reasonable care to select experienced drivers and guides and to plan safe routes, but we're not responsible for delays, itinerary changes, or trip interruptions caused by landslides, road closures, weather, flight cancellations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We strongly recommend arranging your own travel insurance before your trip.

6. Car rentals

Rented vehicles come with an assigned driver unless self-drive is agreed in writing. The renter is responsible for any damage caused by misuse and must follow the driver's guidance on road conditions. Fuel, tolls, and parking are included or excluded as stated on your booking confirmation.

7. Hotel bookings

Room availability and rates are confirmed at the time of booking and are subject to the individual hotel's own check-in, check-out, and cancellation policies where these are stricter than ours.

8. Photos and reviews

We may photograph tours for use on our website and social media. If you'd rather not appear in these photos, let your guide know at the start of your trip.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim relating to your booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We're not liable for indirect losses, such as missed connecting flights, or for the acts of third parties like airlines, hotels, or local authorities that are outside our control.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and the Terms in place at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gilgit Baltistan.
